Terms and Conditions

Terms of Service

Please make sure you understand our Terms and Conditions. They set out the basis on what you accept when purchasing tickets to events. By purchasing tickets, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with or accept any of these Terms and Conditions, you should cease to purchase tickets immediately.

Chuckl and Third Party Ticket Purchase

1.1. Ticket Purchase. Chuckl. gathers customers email address for our primary use to send direct offers and marketing for Chuckl. events. 

To opt out of receiving exclusive offers and marketing from Chuckl. please use the link at the bottom of our marketing email or reply to hello@chuckl.tv 'stop offers' and Chuckl will delete your details from our marketing system

1.2. Ticket Purchase. Third Party Events. Third parties sell tickets to their events on the Platform. They may sell these tickets in other places I.e. on other websites and at their events. They may have their own rules for their events, different to Chuckl. events and you may wish to ask them for these rules before attending. When buying tickets on the Platform, there is no hidden costs.  

1.3. Ticket Proof Of Purchase. When you buy a ticket from Chuckl. or a third party on the Platform or at a Chuckl event, you will be sent an E-ticket/ or be given a paper ticket. The E-ticket will go to the email address you provide us when purchasing a ticket on the Platform. Please show this E-ticket in its full entirety when coming to an event, as proof of purchase, in a digital or printed format. Anyone without proof of purchase, will be refused entry to an event.  

1.4. Resale. We do not allow reselling of tickets.

1.5. Promotion. Any promotional offers i.e. % off tickets or buy one get one free deals are only redeemable for general admission tickets and not tickets that are already discounted compared to general admission, this includes Blue Light, student, teacher or key worker tickets. Promotional offers and deals cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers.

1.7. Blue Light and student tickets. Blue light tickets, student and key worker tickets  require respective ID to be presented on the door at point of entry. Failure to produce the relevant ID will result in refused entry or the difference between the ticket purchased and the general admission ticket to be paid.

1.8 Gift cards purchased from us or one of the platforms we ticket through are non-refundable and cannot be used beyond expiry.

Chuckl Events

2.1. Arrival. Door opening times are as advertised, please arrive on time, we aim to start the acts half an hour after the doors opening or as advertised. 

2.2. Chuckl Media Recording. By purchasing a ticket, the ticket holder consents to being shown as members of the audience in official filming, photography and sound recordings.

2.3. Copyright and Recording. No audio or visual recording equipment is allowed. Any person found with these may be asked to leave the venue and the recorded material may be destroyed. If you are asked to leave, no refund will be given. 

2.4. Event Eviction. For the protection and comfort of all customers, we reserve the right to refuse admission to, or eject from an event, anyone we believe to be unfit by reason of the consumption of alcohol and /or drugs or who displays rowdy, disruptive, violent or anti-social behaviour. If you are asked to leave, refunds will not be given.

2.5. Health and Safety. Please abide by signs and measures put in place at events, including fire safety and Covid rules. We strictly abide by Covid rules put in place by the government and anyone not following these rules may be asked to leave, without a refund, before coming to our events please check all new government guidelines set out on their website or contact our customer services team on hello@chuckl.co.uk.

Cancellations and Refunds

3.1. Cancelled or Rescheduled Event. You are entitled to a refund if Chuckl cancels or reschedules an event that we personally sell tickets for. 

If a Chuckl event is rescheduled, ticket holders will be offered seats at a rescheduled event (Subject to availability) and up to the face value of the tickets, if the ticket holder is unable to attend the rescheduled event for any reason or the event is not rescheduled, a refund will be given. If you cannot make the rescheduled event for any reason, you will need to contact us on hello@chuckl.co.uk  as soon as possible and prior to the event, to be able to get a refund.  

We will let you know if a Chuckl event is cancelled or rescheduled and we or a third party will let you know if their event has been cancelled or rescheduled and what to do next. Timely event cancelation and rescheduled notifications, cannot always be guaranteed and it is your responsibility to ascertain if an event is still taking place.

3.2. Lineup Changes. On the rare occasion we or a third party, may make alterations to the published program and/or lineup of an event for reasons beyond our control a refund will not be given. We cannot guarantee the appearance of particular act at our comedy clubs, therefore lineups may be subject to change.

3.3. Can’t Make Event. You are not entitled to a refund, if you cannot make an event but are if it is a rescheduled event.

3.4. Booking Fees. If we issue you with a refund the amount you will receive will be after booking fees have been deducted.

3.5. Location Changes. If the event has changed venue/location your original ticket(s) will still remain valid for use. We or a third party will try to make tickets holders aware of the changes as soon as possible and will always try to have the event as near as we can to the original location. If you cannot make the event at the new location, a full refund will be issued, you will need to contact us via hello@chuckl.co.uk as soon as possible and prior to the event, to be able to get a refund.  

3.6. If we are working with you or your venue(s) on a show(s) that we have booked artists for an you cancel or postpone the event(s) without giving us a replacement date at the time of postponement then any monies paid to Chuckl by yourselves will be retained by us to cover all costs associated with planning the event.
