Travis Jay has a reputation as an entertaining and intelligent stand up comedian, and sometimes controversial story teller. A Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year nominee, he began his career on the black comedy circuit.

In addition to supporting Dave Chappelle and Kojo Anim on their UK tours, Travis has performed solo shows in prestigious UK venues such as The Palladium, the Bloomsbury Theatre, The Barbican and the Edinburgh Comedy Festival.

His TV appearances include Late Night Mash (Dave), the Stand Up Sketch Show (ITV2), Mo Gilligan: Black, British & Funny (Channel 4) and Drunk History and Comedy Central Live (Comedy Central), while he also hosts the popular podcast ‘The TRAVIS JAY Show’.
