About
Tatty Macleod is a French/English bilingual stand-up comedian, actor and writer. She has gained a huge online following thanks to her extremely popular French vs English sketches which have amassed over 35 million views across Instagram and TikTok.
She studied acting at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and went on to write and direct work for the Lyric Hammersmith, The Southwark Playhouse, Theatre 503 and the Cockpit Theatre. She studied at UCB New York and at Second City Chicago. She was a 2021 Funny Women Awards Semi Finalist and “One to Watch” .
Her writing work include “Precieuses Ridicules” a modern reimagining of Moliere’s play by the same name, “N.P.B.D” a short play which premiered at the Lyric Hammersmith. She also co-wrote “The Last Forever Woman” a short film for the Barbican and the British Council. As a stand up comedian she has performed in Paris, Switzerland and Luxembourg and regularly performs paid 20’s at the Glee clubs around the UK. She has opened for Sebastian Marx at the Apollo Theatre and has performed at the Cafe Paname and the L'Alhambra theatre in Paris. She runs a sell out bilingual mixed bill comedy night “Liberté, Egalité, Comedé” at 21 Soho. She is also an improviser with Crime Scene Improvisation (Edinburgh and Brighton Fringe Sell out 2016-2019) and with the Free Association’s show “I’m Not Here To Make Friends”.
