Matt spent a decade behind the spotlight – promoting one of the most successful comedy nights in the South East – before finally treading the boards himself in early 2014.
His natural stage presence and on point delivery have quickly set him apart on the lower levels of the circuit, securing him gigs in sort after rooms such as Ha Half Moon and The Joker Club, Southend.
Matt is already a popular M.C in his hometown of Southend, having regularly hosted a variety of comedy shows there, in addition to a number of charity events including several for a major coffee shop chain.
In the short time since taking the performance plunge, Matt has shared the stage with comedy powerhouses; Sean Meo, Jo Caufield and Ricky Grover.
Matt’s only award to date is the coveted 1990 Haven Holiday Under 10’s joke competition.
“Matt is a comedian you just can’t help but like with such a warming personality that lets the audience know that they are in safe hands” – Danny Posthill, Britain’s Got Talent Finalist.
