Jim is a regular feature at many clubs around the country and often headlines and gets paid weekend spots.

He started off in 2009 and gigged for just over 2 years before he went into teaching. Since his return to comedy in 2017 he has played at clubs such as Shoecake Comedy, Blue Giraffe, Hyena Comedy Club, Hot Water Comedy Club, Hilarity Bites, The Stand, Pear Face, Comedy Station and Yesbar to name but a few.

Jim has performed with notable comedians such as Charlie Chuck (Smell of Reeves and Mortimer), Justin Moorhouse, Archie Kelly (both Phoenix Nights), Tom Stade, Gary Delaney, Chris Ramsey as well as many other TV headliners.

Jim also performed at the 2018 Tribfest festival in Sledmere. Every gig has lead to further bookings by the same promoters.
