Mike Capozzola is a London-based pro comic originally from New York.
He’d been a working stand up comedian in the states for over 25 years before moving to the UK from San Francisco in 2018 and starting all over again as 'the new guy.' (Like in the movies, when there's a doctor who was once a prominent surgeon before losing his license and then ends up treating gunshot wounds for the mob.... or you've had an Uber driver with a PhD in biochemistry and post doctoral fellowships in virology and genetics... It's like that)
Mike’s appeared at the New York Comedy Festival and several times at San Francisco SketchFest as well as MCM London Comic Con in addition to tailored gigs for museums and corporations. Mike’s worked in much of North America as well as England, Scotland, Ireland, Switzerland, Poland, Holland, Belgium, France, Germany, Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania, Luxembourg, Spain, Denmark, Dubai, Israel, Turkey and the Czech Republic. In the states, at theatres, private events and comedy clubs, Mike has supported Mitch Hedberg, Dana Carvey, Richard Lewis, Kevin Nealon, Craig Ferguson, Paula Poundstone, Allan Havey, Tom Kenny, Todd Barry, Jake Johannsen and Brian Regan.
“A brilliant comedian with a dry sense of humor. We always enjoy having him at the festival” - San Francisco SketchFest
"Hilarious” - Richard Lewis
Mike played the ‘Veteran MiB Agent’ in "Men in Black International." Additional appearances include: "The Phantom of the Open" and Amazon’s "Citadel” FUN FACT: Mike’s scene in “The Batman” was cut, but he can still be seen for almost :01 in silhouette!
